JCtrans: Hello, Mr. Sanjay S Vaidya. Firstly, will you please make a brief introduction of ASIS?

Mr. Sanjay S Vaidya: Asis Logistics Ltd is an ISO 9001-2008 company in India, having fleet of vehicles 268 no. of trailors + 400 & odd affliated to us. We have open Ware House of 1,000,000 sq.ft. and Custom Bonded Warehouse of 100,000 sq.ft.. We have owned equipments like Crain /Forklift /Hydra, etc. And we also have CHA License and strong base at MUMBAI/JNPT/KANDLA & MUNDRA, which are specialized in clearance of Machinery/ODC/Steel Plates/Coil/Bars & Marble Block/tiles & slabs

JCtrans: Formed in the early 90s, the ASIS Group comprises of a number of companies. ASIS must have its own outstanding Enterprise Characteristics. So will you please talk about ASIS's Enterprise Characteristics?

Mr. Sanjay S Vaidya: Being ISO company, we are always giving priority to QUALITY SERVICE & clear vision with focus on future. And that gives us the strength to grow more.

Integrity & sincerity & clarity in business are the thumb rules we always follow in order to steadily grow from seed to MIGHTY TREE.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the advantageous services of ASIS?

Mr. Sanjay S Vaidya: Having own transport & warehouse & equipments, we really offer complete logistics service which is now a day requirement of clients.

Now CHA (Custom House Agent) is our advantageous service. ASIS Logistics Ltd is the first CHA in India to be awarded the Prestigious ISO 9002 Certificate by Quality Assurance Services, Australia.

Indian Customs Law requires CHA to obtain licenses from Customs Authorities at various ports before they render their services. ASIS has CHA license for Mumbai, JNPT, Air Cargo Mumbai, Goa, Kandla, Pipavav Port, Delhi, Mundra, Pithampur and Bangalore which contribute over 40% of country foreign trade. At all these places, ASIS has required infrastructure and resources for meeting the needs of their customers in a cost-effective manner.

With ASIS as CHA for you, you need to simply negotiate the purchase, sale and arrange for goods. Rest of all can be looked after by ASIS as if ASIS is a part of your organization, with accountability and answerability.

JCtrans: What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

Mr. Sanjay S Vaidya: Logistics is service oriented industry. And there is no end for Import & Export within countries all over the world. So we always have new challenges, which always keep you on tows. It is brain storming business which keeps you active. Therefore, I think it is service quality and innovation are the most important things to run a logistics company.

JCtrans: Finally, will you please talk about the strategic planning of ASIS in next three years?

Mr. Sanjay S Vaidya: In the next three year, ASIS will be absorbed in the following three things:

1) To build complete strong network of agents all over the world;

2) To open branches at Main City/ICD for strong network within India;

3) To add 50 new vehicles in our existing fleet.
