On Successful Way of ISH Logistics

ISH Logistics is the logistics group that ranked in the forefront and is known to everybody in Malaysia. It's free trade zone warehouse has operating size of over 2.6 million square feet. And the Chairman Mr. Zheng Chuansen is a man of his word, vigorous and resolute, who also has penetrating unique eyes. In 1995, when some foreign enterprises were holding back in investments in China, he perceived with great subtlety that large enterprise will transfer to China because the increase of the operating costs in Malaysia and other places. But the laggard logistics services in China at that time became the worry of the large enterprises' industry transition. By virtue of the long term cooperation with Panasonic in Malaysia, Mr. Zheng determined immediately that to cooperate with Shun Xing Group, the vanguard of Panasonic in Asia-Pacific area, to establish ISH Logistics Limited Company. So he purchased great quantity of land in Shenzhen Futian bonded area to build logistics base. Then three modernized storage and logistics center with total area 143 thousands square meters were built, and became the first group of foreign enterprises in Shenzhen Futian bonded area. In the same year, he purchased self-built logistics center in Shanghai Waigaoqiao bonded area, and started his great cause of developing both in South and East China at the same time.

To exceed the needs of customers' is the key component of the success of ISH.

ISH Logistics regards to hit out actively as the best defense, which is different from the tradition logistics' operation way of waiting in the wings. ISH Logistics also thinks that it should sharpen its vision which exceeds the customers' expectation, should be good at finding the multinational corporation's potential demand and design the most effective operation way according to their demand. Never let the customers wait. Instead, they design the "game rule" for customers with the specialized judgment. "Now the operation way of all the multinational corporations we served is 24 hours and 365 days. Everyday we have 4 production scheduling cycles. Mr. Zheng said. Therefore "1.5-2 hours" is the average time ISH Logistics offers IBM and Lenovo from getting customer's instruction to all the ingredients reaching the designated spot of production line. At the same time, responding on customer requirements rapidly, ISH Logistics focuses on customs declaration, transportation and other affairs. This kind of personal service that integrates production and supply chain link for customers notably declined customers' logistics and operation cost.

Modern warehouse and advanced information management system are the source of ISH Logistics' confidence.

As the saying goes that "Without the diamond does not get porcelain live." Transnational corporations are very strict with the suppliers in scale, management and professionals. They also require the logistics suppliers to offer one-stop integrated third-party logistics services. Therefore, Mr. Zheng told us that ISH Logistics, based on the understanding of the large transnational enterprises, has begun to invest in establishing its own modern warehouse since its establishment. Until now, ISH Logistics has owned advanced designed and safety and credit warehouse of more than 448 thousands square meters in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Wujiang, Jiangyin, Xinxiang and other places. Every year, the amount of operating cargo is over 1 million TEUs. The quantity of customs declaration everyday is more than 500 cases. And the trucks in and out of the warehouse everyday can be about 300 vehicles. Meanwhile, ISH Logistics uses advanced EXCEED3.7 warehousing management system, implements EDI electronic customs declaration, adopts a comprehensive CCTV¡¢CAS access control system, and manages according to TAPAA requirement. In the next few years, ISH Logistics will invest in establishing logistics centers in Tianjin, Suzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Wuhan and other cities. It will also extend its business coverage network through joint venture, cooperation, merger and other ways. The Foreversun Chemical Terminal field covers an area of 11,000 square meters with 37 storage tanks. Its storage capacity is 97,600 cubic meters with 50-kiloton petrochemical dedicated terminal.
