MSC to start Yantian- LA weekly Condor Express with Maersk slot charter

2008-3-17

The Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) will start a high-speed weekly service in April with a slot charter on Maersk Line's TP9 service between Yantian and Los Angeles.

The weekly Condor Express service enables MSC to provide additional coverage to the south China market to North America and features fast transit between Yantian and Los Angeles, said a MSC statement.

The Condor Express service will commence in April and complements MSC's established network in China that provides market coverage and quick transit, said the release.

Geneva-based MSC operates 362 containership with capacity of 1,215,000 TEU.
