ESPMC-WITASS reduces bunker surcharges

Shipping lines in the Europe/Caribbean/South America trade ESPMC-WITASS conference will lower their bunker surcharges for February sailings.

The U.S. dollar and euro-denominated surcharges will be $521/521 euros (from $558/558 euros) per TEU and $1,042/1,042 euros (from $1,116/1,116 euros) per FEU. The per-freight-ton surcharge will drop to $26/26 euros (from $28/28 euros).

The conference is maintaining its monthly low sulphur fuel surcharge for shipments to and from Baltic Sea ports, Hamburg to Le Havre range, Scandinavian countries, Poland, and the United Kingdom and Ireland, at $4/4 euros per TEU.
