CMA CGM, NWS to develop Xiamen Haicang Port

CMA CGM, France's largest and the world's third largest container shipping company, has signed a strategic co-operation agreement with Xiamen Municipal government and Hong Kong's NWS Holdings.

The parties plan to jointly develop Xiamen's Haicang Port.

The three plan to invest in the construction of container terminals that are scheduled to start operation in 2009.
