CMA CGM upgrades Morocco-Europe services

French global container shipping line CMA CGM has announced two additional weekly departures on its service between Morocco and Europe.

Effective this month (November), it will offer clients exporting citrus and fresh fruits from Morocco three weekly departures out of Agadir to North Europe and the Mediterranean. The new services will provide temperature-controlled, containerised capacity and "extremely competitive" transit times, for example Agadir/Dunkirk in four days and Agadir/Marseilles in five.

The Morocco-Europe services offered by CMA CGM will now comprise:

Morocco/North Europe

Agadir Express 1:

Two 450-TEU vessels equipped with 120 reefer plugs.

Rotation: Agadir, Dunkirk, Rotterdam, Le Havre, Casablanca.

Agadir Express 2:

Two 450-TEU vessels equipped with 120 reefer plugs.

Rotation: Agadir, Portsmouth, Dunkirk, Rotterdam, Casablanca.

Morocco/Mediterranean

Port Vendres service:

Two 400-TEU ships equipped with 100 reefer plugs.

Rotation: Agadir, Port Vendres, Marseilles.
