Interview with Ms. Katalin Csader, Head of PR of TRANSLOG Connect Congress 2012

2012-3-19

JCtrans: Hello, Ms. Katalin Csader. Firstly, will you please make a brief introduction of TRANSLOG Connect Congress 2012?

Ms. Katalin Csader: TRANSLOG Connect 2012 will be one of the largest and the only regional cross-industrial logistics, transportation and supply chain management event for Central and Eastern Europe in 2012.

The event will be bringing together around 500 senior decision-makers from Europe's leading automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, food & beverage and FMCG manufacturers and major food and non-food retailers, giving them the opportunity to share their knowledge and discuss their key priorities. Therefore the regional members of the European Logistics Association (ELA) are highly supporting us again, e.g. the Polish (PTL), the Austrian (BVL), the Hungarian (HLA), the Romanian (ARILOG), and the Ukrainian Logistics Association (ULA) as well as the Croatian Supply Chain Management Association (CSCA), the Purchasing Managers Association of Slovenia (ZNS), the Estonian Purchasing and Supply Chain Management Association (PROLOG), the Lithuanian National Freight Forwards' Association (LINEKA) and GS1 on a CEE-country level basis, not to mention the European-wide media coverage.

The congress will also offer a perfect setting for solution providers in the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transportation sector - such as CH Robinson, DB Schenker, Raben, TNT or DHL - who will present their products and services directly to key decision-makers throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

JCtrans: How does TRANSLOG Connect Congress 2012 benefit the industry?

Ms. Katalin Csader: To assure the highest relevance of the conference programme, we work closely together with our Programme Advisory Committee, whose members are the most well-known senior professionals of their industry. They ensure that the most up-to-date market insights and the most challenging topics will be discussed in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production, IT, Transportation and Warehouse Management-related topics. The following professionals confirmed their support for 2012 already: Rogier van Zon, Global Distribution Director Business Unit TV at Philips; Dr. Johann Seif, VP International Planning and Logistics at Henkel; Laszlo Lovassy, Logistics Manager at Chevrolet Europe; Peter Boncser, Supply Chain Director at Auchan, and Dr. Peter Lakatos, Head of Logistics Centre at Teva and Member of the Presidency at the Hungarian Logistics Association (HLA).

The congress further provides an opportunity to visit major logistics and distribution centers in the region, available on a first-come, first-serve basis. During TRANSLOG 2011 participants had the choice to select between the Audi plant in Gyor and the Dreher (SAB Miller) plant in Budapest.

Moreover, it is the perfect setting for local and international solution providers to present their company to a multinational audience. Each solution-provider is selected based on requirements and interests stated by attending professionals prior to the event.

JCtrans: Which is TRANSLOG Connect Congress aims for the future?

Ms. Katalin Csader: Our mission is to be the number one choice for business professionals all around the region when it comes to Logistics and Supply Chain Management Events. Our format is already acknowledged as the unique networking platform on the CEE market but we are constantly striving for the best to provide the best quality services to an ever increasing number of customers from all industry sectors and countries across Central Eastern Europe.

JCtrans: Is there any other thing you want to say about TRANSLOG Connect Congress 2012?
