JCtrans: Hello, Mr. AMEER AMRNI. Firstly, will you please make a brief introduction of UNITED FREIGHTERS CO. LTD.?

Mr. AMEER AMRNI: Thanks. United Freighters is a leading freight forwarder, member of UFC group with 4 Sister Companies within 4 countries: Sudan, South Sudan, Egypt, and UAE. We are unique in services provision for all activities related to freight forwarding field (Sea, Air, Land, Logistics, Warehousing, Projects, FCL, LCL, Consolidation Cargo, etc.)

JCtrans: Will you please talk about your core-competitiveness?

Mr. AMEER AMRNI: Sudan Office-particularly-located in very important territory. And the 4 founded offices make us a unique in services provision covering Africa territory linking with Middle East & an international business.

JCtrans: Nowadays, the competition in logistics industry is fiercer and fiercer. What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

Mr. AMEER AMRNI: We always trust in two points: standard quality services & unique location we are enjoying within our territory. Both of these give us special features to apply logistics.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the current logistics industry in SUDAN? Are there any advantages or problems?

Mr. AMEER AMRNI: Sudan-recently-was subject to some serious and noticeable movements. And it became two states (last July 2011) includes Republic of Sudan and Republic of South Sudan. Both are still consuming countries more than producing. And infrastructures in both states are still under constructions (particularly Republic of South Sudan). So this gives some refreshment for services related to imported cargos. But there is still long distance to improve exporting field. So as you notice, it is advantages & problems in the same time.

JCtrans: Finally, will you please talk about the prospect of UNITED FREIGHTERS CO. LTD.? Or what's your strategic planning for the next 3 or 5 years?

Mr. AMEER AMRNI: United Freighters started one office in Sudan several years ago. And now it expanded to 4 offices in: Sudan, South Sudan, Egypt and UAE.

Our future plan is to expand group with 2-3 additional offices within China, Djibouti and Kenya. This expansion will be accompanying by services quality & quantity improvement as well.
