On September 18, 2007, JCtrans held the 2nd E-Business Management for International Logistics Forum in Shenzhen. This was the largest forum for the freight forwarding industry to ever be held in this city. More than 600 freight forwarding companies participated in the forum, and discussed e-business and other hot topics in the logistics industry.
There are around 5,000 freight forwarding companies in Shenzhen and the number is growing so rapidly that it is affecting the development of the freight forwarding industry in Shenzhen. The hottest topic at the moment in the freight forwarding community is how to enhance your company's strength in light of the ferocious competition in the industry. The forum held by JCtrans promoted the idea of using e-business to help them solve this problem.
At the forum, Mr. Lee Feng, CEO of JCtrans, and another two managers from the product department made reports on the "Blue Sea" strategy and management of e-business. The forum reached a peak during the "Executive Talks", when experts from the Shenzhen logistics industry and company representatives discussed hot topics related to the freight forwarding market. Most of the representatives showed that they had benefited a lot from the forum and looked forward to the next one.
