World crude oil futures fall

World crude oil futures fell on Wednesday after U.S. energy inventories rose more than expected.

Light, sweet crude for June delivery lost 62 cents at 62.55 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for June delivery fell 10 cents at 68.01 dollars a barrel on the ICE Futures exchange in London.

U.S. Energy Department reported on Wednesday that its crude inventories rose by 1 million barrels last week, and its gasoline stockpiles rose by 1.7 million barrels, more than a rise of expected 1 million barrels.
