Hang Seng China Enterprises Index on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange went up 103.18 points, or 0.82 percent to close the trading at 12,681.44 Friday.
The H-shares index, initiated in August 1994 and readjusted on March 12, 2007, tracks the overall performance of 41 the Chinese mainland state-owned enterprises listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
Hang Seng China H-Financials Index surged 108.33 points, or 0.77 percent, to close at 14,262.56.
The H-Financials Index, initiated on Nov. 27, 2006, tracks the performance of eight major banks and insurers of the Chinese mainland.
However, Hang Seng China-Affiliated Corporations Index moved up8.31 points, or 0.19 percent to close at 4,279.87.
The index tracks the performance of 31 locally listed companies with a significant equity interest held by entities in the Chinese mainland.
