A suicide car bombing at least killed 3 persons and injured four others in western Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan, on Friday morning.
Three persons including a policeman were killed and four others injured in the explosion, Alishah Paktiawal, Kabul deputy police chief told Xinhua.
The explosion happened at around 8:00 a.m. (0330 GMT) hundreds of meters from the Afghan Parliament, and plumes of smoke were seen rising from the site.
The police were driving off the mass at the site and have cordoned off it, while ambulances were rushing to the site, a Xinhua journalist saw.
Over the past few weeks, as it gets warm, Kabul has suffered from suicide bombings from time to time.
On March 28, a suicide blast targeted a senior Afghan intelligence official, killing at least two civilians and injuring five others.
Another suicide bombing attacked a U.S. embassy convoy on March 19, wounding five embassy security personnel.
