Sydney's Port Botany to get a $960m facelift

Construction has begun on the US$960 million expansion to Sydney's Port Botany, the Australia Associated Press reports.

The expansion, which will results in five new shipping berths and 1,850m of new wharfs, is set to almost double the port's container terminal capacity.

Construction should be completed by 2012.
