FESCO, Mitsui O.S.K. Lines (MOL) and Azuma Shipping have established a new liner agency in Japan - Trans Russia Agency Japan Co., Ltd.

The enterprise was founded to combine the agency services for shipping on the Russia-Japan route.

Trans Russia Agency Japan Co. started its work on March 1 of this year as a general agent of FESCO. The new agency was established by consolidating the MOL's owned agency, Navix Transport, and joint enterprise of FESCO and Azuma Shipping, United Orient Shipping & Agency Co.

The new company's registered capital is ¥100 million or $934 thousand, 50% of which belongs to FESCO, 30% - to MOL and 20% - to Azuma Shipping.

The consolidation of the agency service will help the customers of FESCO to get additional competitive advantages such as time saving and an effective system of control and booking of cargo in the growing cargo flow, Vostok Media reports according to RZD-Partner.
