Dalian port adds Black Sea service of MSC

The Port of Dalian added a new container service as MSC made the Bohai Sea harbour the other end of its Black Sea service, Logistics Week reported.

MSC deploys eight 7,000 TEU ships on the weekly service, including the MSC Vanessa, the first of eight to call at Dalian, the report said.

Port rotation is Dalian, Tianjin, Qingdao, Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Fuzhou, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Singapore, Jeddah, Istanbul, Constantsa, Mersin, Colombo, Port Kelang and Xiamen.

The Black Sea service is Dalian port's first service added this year and its 13th foreign trade service, the report said.
