Four Maersk services add Xiamen to port rotations

Maersk has added port of Xiamen to the port rotations of four of its weekly services, Xinhua reported.

The four services include three Asia-Europe lines AE6, AE1 and AE5 and one Intra-Asia line IA3, using a total of 21 containerships.

The Maersk Dryden on the AE6 service made its maiden call at Xiamen's Songyu Container Terminal in Haicang port area on March 5. AE6 uses 11 ships, and is scheduled to arrive at Xiamen Wednesdays and leave Thursdays. Port rotation is Shanghai, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Suez Canal, Port Said, Gioia Tauro, Barcelona, Fos Sur Mer, Genoa.

Port rotation of AE1 is Kobe, Nagoya, Yokohama, Nansha, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Suez Canal, Southampton, Rotterdam, Gothenburg, Aarhus, Bremen.

AE5's port rotation is Hong Kong, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Suez Cana, Port Said, Haydarpasa, Ambarl, Thessaloniki.

IA3's port rotation is Kaohsiung, Xiamen, Hong Kong, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore.

Including the four lines, there are now 25 international container shipping lines calling at the Port of Xiamen's Haicang port area, six of them dock at the Songyu Container Terminal.
