APL's average revenue per FEU up 9%

The latest operational update provided by Singapore-based Neptune Orient Lines shows a 9 percent rise in average revenue per FEU for APL during a four-week period ended Oct. 19.

APL's average revenue per FEU during the period improved to $2,916 from $2,665 a year ago. At the same time, APL moved 188,400 FEUs, 12 percent more than 168,200 FEUs in the comparable period last year.

For the year, APL's container volume is up 11 percent to 1.88 million FEUs with the average revenue per FEU up 2 percent at $2,713.
