Zim ups freight rate 10pc following Maersk Israeli departure

Zim has become the only shipping line with direct service to the US from Israel after AP Moller-Maersk closed its direct shipping service, reported Globes Online, an Israeli news portal.

Zim Integrated Shipping Services has also raised its shipping rate on these routes 10 per cent.

The rate per TEU will increase US$150 to US east coast ports and by $200 to west coast ports with the FEU rate rising $200 for the east coast and by $300 to the west coast port.
