POSTED: 8:29 a.m. EDT, April 30,2007

A new container line running between South Korea and Vladivostok Port, called Korea Russia Container Express Service, has opened at the Vladivostok Container Terminal, said a company statement disseminated by Interfax News agency.

The container line will be managed on a parity basis by the South Korean companies CKL, KMTC and PCL.

The first ship from Busan to use the line docked at the terminal last week. Ships are expected to call at the port on a weekly basis.
