`K' Line discloses its plan to provide Asia-ECSA container service
POSTED: 9:20 a.m. EDT, April 26,2007

"K" line has announced its plans to start a weekly container shipping service connecting Asia with the east coast of South America in June 2007.

The service will be launched in co-operation with Compania SudAmericana de Vapores SA (CSAV) in a bid to meet fast growing market demand between China, in particular, and the east coast of South America.

The port rotation will be: Ningbo, Shanghai, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Buenos Aires, Paranagua, Itajai, Santos, Durban, Singapore and Ningbo.

"K" Line currently operates the trade between the US east coast and the east coast of South America. A company statement added that it recently launched the north Europe to east coast South America service. This new service is therefore expected to enhance the Japanese company's container shipping service network over the east coast South America region
