BAX Global Inc. has opened a new logistics facility in Chicago, near O'Hare International Airport. The 14-acre BAX Global - Chicago World Freight Campus with facilities totaling 228,003 square feet is U.S. Customs bonded, compliant with Technology Asset Protection Association (TAPA) standards and Container Freight Station (CFS) bonded.
The logistics campus will expand import and export operations including the quadrupling of the storage for imports, industrial cooling and remote monitoring devices for temperature sensitive cargo. The facility has 84 truck bays, and features a 100-foot clear span for domestic cross-dock activities.
