In 2011 on container terminal in Ilichevsk, which is operated by Ukrtranscontainer, it is planned to put into operation new deep-water berth.

The length of the new berth will total 400 m. It will be able to accept containerships with the capacity more than 8 th. TEU. The berth will be equipped with 4 SuperPostPanamax with the productivity of 30 containers per hour each.

Now Ilichevsk is possible to handle containerships with the capacity of up to 4 th. TEU. The depths total 12.5 m and the terminal is equipped with 5 PostPanamax loading cranes.
