Grand Power expands throughout southern China
POSTED: 11:23 a.m. EDT, February 9,2007

Grand Power Logistics Group Inc. has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, GP Express International (GP Hong Kong), has opened a subsidiary company in Shenzhen, on the Pearl River Delta in the People's Republic of China.

This new subsidiary, Grand Power Express International, (Shenzhen) Ltd, received its business license on December 20, 2006. GP Hong Kong will invest up to HK$5 million (approximately CDN $750,000) into the Shenzhen subsidiary to further develop its presence and customer base in this region.

The Pearl River Delta (PRD) is home to many of the top manufacturers and exporters of watches, electronics, toys, footwear and clothing.

In conjunction with the opening of GP Shenzhen, another member of the group, GP Shanghai, will begin full operations in its Branch Office in Guangzhou, also on the PRD. The company has also established a sales team in nearby Jiangman, in the western section of the PRD, to support its Guangzhou operations. The company will now have full coverage of the key areas of the PRD with its offices in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jiangman.

Mr. Ricky Chiu, President and CEO of Grand Power Logistics said, "We are pleased with our progress in China, and we are excited about the potential that our presence in these new locations provides for the Grand Power Group of Companies. Although the air cargo sector in Hong Kong continues to grow, we see that there is faster growth and many excellent opportunities for Grand Power in the PRD region, now that we are much closer to many of the world-class manufacturers and exporters."

Mr. Chiu adds, "Our corporate goal is to develop a presence in those regions in the world that will provide tremendous growth opportunities for Grand Power. During the last several months we have moved more rapidly toward that goal. With more direct access to one of the world's major exporting regions and the recent opening of our Los Angeles office, we feel positive about the beneficial impact that our growth strategy will have on our bottom line."
