CIMC has recently landed a contract to install an air cargo handling system at the second phase cargo terminal that is currently under construction at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport, Xinhua reports.

The second phase of the airfreight terminal is being developed at a cost of CNY166 million (US$21.23 million) to become the second largest facility of its kind in the world, covering an area of 200,000 square metres and having an annual handling capacity of 1.2 million tons of airfreight when it's completed in the first half of 2008.
