Suspended Asia-NA East Coast service discontinued
POSTED: 8:04 a.m. EDT, April 9,2007

THE Grand Alliance (GA) and the New World Alliance (TNWA) have decided to discontinue their joint Asia-North America East Coast service.

No reasons were given, but according to a statement, the service "has been in a temporary suspension since the winter of 2006".

GA member lines are Hapag-Lloyd, MISC Berhad, NYK and OOCL, while the TNWA is made up of APL, Hyundai Merchant Marine and MOL.
