Star Shipping (Pvt) Ltd was opened by a group which enjoys major shareholding in maritime and aviation related projects in Pakistan. Company offers the following scope of services at this strategic port of the subcontinent:

-Shipping agents at all ports of Pakistan

- NVOCC and international freight forwarding

- Multimodal transport operators

- CFS warehousing/distribution

- Logistics/Project handling

- T/S service to CIS, Afghanistan and other regional ports

- Airfreight

- P&I services and other allied activities

- Projects logistics solutions

Besides above, company also involved in customs clearance and transportation of Afghan transit cargo from Karachi to Kabul via Peshawar and Quetta and have been associated with various NGOs and UN agencies (i.e. WFP, UNICEF, WHO).

M.Kamran:

Company discovered staff with strong shipping and logistic background to further groom the structured that is the backbone. Our core-competitiveness is our Work plan. To make strategy, aim it and execute.

JCtrans:  What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?

M.Kamran:

Its all about strategy being planned. One should put all efforts together with strong eagerness. It is basically controlling over all your desire in achieving goals. It keeps coming all the way and motivate if you are sure. To have over all control and to run the show smoothly, one must work with zeal by making all tasks a win-win task. Logistic services provider should not only to ensure the strength they have or equipments they owned or manpower they put but at the same time, the quality of service also matters on top of client¡¯s satisfaction.

JCtrans:  Would you please talk about the situation of logistic industry in your country?

M.Kamran:

We learned and earned from this market exploring other avenues available in foreign market which has made us too proud.
