Mr. Rafidi Amat: Globe Bulk Services Private Limited latest profile now includes Offshore Support, Ship Chartering and Broking. We have begun to provide our new services to our clients from Asia, Western Europe and Scandinavia for their operations or projects to/from or within South East Asia.
JCtrans: We know Globe Bulk Service cover all types of international/local shipments. Would you please talk about your core-competitiveness?
Mr. Rafidi Amat: GBS has since established a wide network over in the South East Asia handling Airfreight & Sea freight shipments due to our core Ship Agency Business, thru the Ship Agency business we have manage to build a strong networks and relationship with our Ship Owner and Clients.
Thru all the above, our top priority is to ensure Customer Satisfaction and we at GBS believe that to make a difference positive relationship is required between our Staff & Clients.

JCtrans: Nowadays, the competition in logistics industry is fiercer and fiercer. What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company?
Mr. Rafidi Amat: As we mention on question 2, Customer Satisfaction is our top priority, as business is not all about making profit. To ensure profit, Clients Relationship is required and to progress on this we at GBS are different from all other logistics companies. We ensure that all matters is being taken care of and our clients concern is really been taken care of.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about the current logistics industry in Singapore? Are there any advantages or problems?
Mr. Rafidi Amat: Singapore being the one of the busiest port in the World so far is maintaining the good standard. That is one of those advantages that shipper is comfortable with. Regulations here are very transparent and most of the cargo that transit or come out from Singapore can be easily shipped out or shipped in if all those documents are proper.
JCtrans: Finally, will you please talk about the prospect of Globe Bulk Services Private Limited? Or what's your strategic planning for the next 3 or 5 years?
Mr. Rafidi Amat: Globe Bulk Services Private Limited (GBS) has since grown from one tiny dot to a company that is being recognized in almost part of the S.E.A. We are in the midst of setting up our Philippine Manila office, Globe Bulk Services, Philippines Corp. As the Oil & Gas industry is steadily picking up, we are making ourselves prepared on this area. We will require a greater strength and a broader network.
