JCtrans: Would you please make a breif introduction of your company?

Eric Opah:My name is Eric Opah, the founder and CEO of Fortune global shipping and logistics ltd., I have 15years industry experience in the shipping and logistics industry, I worked for Panalpina world transport in Nigeria where I gained many years experience in international forwarding services, I was also an executive director in charge of Cargo operation for China southern airlines in Nigeria before becoming the CEO of Fortune global.

Fortune global shipping is an international logistics company which focus on the international services including air charter and sea charter services, ship agency, customs clearance, packing and removal services, project cargo, temporary import permit, exhibition cargo of form Ħ°MĦħ management. And our comoany is established 10years ago with offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcout, Kano and Warri. Our reputation has grown from a small logistics company to a multinational international forwarding organization employing over 50 professional logistics people.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about your core-competiveness?

Eric Opah:Fortune global expertise in all facets of international door to door transportation by air and sea with worldwide network of offices, we operates and provide services from over 150 countries via long standing partnerships.Our services are tailored by made solutions. Because the smallest piece of freight to large capital equipment and project cargo, we are able to provide solution for the complicated Nigerian import procedures and documentations which includes form Ħ°MĦħ management and temporary import permits.

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the working atmosphere in your company?

Eric Opah: Fortune global is a class A forwarding company with experts working in all our departments. All our offices ambience attract many customers who enjoy the relax environment where these services are provided. Our sales people pay more attention to business which leads development and customer satisfaction.

JCtrans: Is there any different rules which is not fitable in other country?

Eric Opah: Yes, in Nigeria textile is banned of importation that you hardly find in other countries. We as forwarding companies think it is wrong because Nigeria do not produce garment. And if it is permitted, it may be helpful for forwarding companies. I hope one day the importation of the textile is permitted.

JCtrans:What do you think is the most important thing to run a logistics company ?

Eric Opah:The most important thing to run logistics forwarding company is earnest. Many people say the professional services and keeping delivery promises are very important. I think whatever you as a person or as an enterpriser, you should earnest first, then other people could trust you, then the business may be successful.

JCtrans:What you always do in your spare time?

Eric Opah:I think we have huge pressure in this area. So I always keep study in my spare time. I read a lot about great forwarding companies and learn how they succeed. Some times I also have other activities when I am too tired. Such as play ball, and have a good time with my families.
