The Shantou branch of Pdon, founded in Shantou City, is one of the most professional international freight forwarders in East of Guangdong Province. They have good relationship with shipping companies and those customs brokers, trailer agency and freight terminals. This week we have made an interview with its manager,a young lady Lena, to know about her career.
JCtrans: Please talk about the conception of your company?
Lena: ¡°Passion, honest, happy work¡± is the attitude of Shantou people to work. ¡°Perfection, excelsior, honesty, customer first.¡± is the conception of Shantou Branch of Pdon to serve customers. We paid more attention on employee talent and the enterprise culture's constructing of property management. Through good service, strict management, we build experienced high-caliber extroverted learner¡¯s professional technical talent team to contend with our customers.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about your strategy to explore foreign market?
Lena: We have several ways to enlarge our market. For example,Jctrans introduce some customers to us. We are their customers, and when they have foreign customers who want to find partners in China, they could introduce them to us. Then we take part in some exhibitions, there we could introduce ourselves to the world. In addition, we have many old customers, many of them are factories, and some of them introduce their customers to us. So I usually say "the market is big, it is just depends on yourself".
JCtrans: Would you please talk about the felling in this area for so many years?
Lena: Time is changing ,the service content is changing in this area, the need of customers is changing, the economic of the world is changing. So everything is changing in this industry.As a freighter, we should make a good effort and change with the step of era, even change before other enterprises, then we could not be eliminated and despair.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about your idea to the situation in this area of 2010?
Lena: The market is not optimism. There are more problems than previous years. I think it is an era for survival of the fittest. If we do not make efforts we will be delimited. And this is a good time for market to recombine.
JCtrans: Would you please talk about your expedition for future?
Lena: To improve the advantageous service of Shantou port and make more customers to know Shantou port. We should suggest more logistics people to transport cargos to Shantou. We hope The Shantou Branch of Pdon will be well-known by the whole world one day. We plan to enhance the attention to train our employees, and the culture built of our company to make our company to be the first grade company.
JCtrans: We all know the logistics company is very busy, how could you balance your family and your work?
Lena: Yes, we are very busy. Work and family are two important points; It is really hard to deal with. We have huge pressure, expecially to a female, under the situation of the serious competition; luckily, I have a team who are very professional colleagues. When I could not bear the pressure they will help me to take the responsibility. They are jon-brockman we have a good achievements
