2009-10-30

JCtrans: Glad to have a chance to interview you, would you please first introduce your company?

Augustine C. Anyanwu: AC-Global Logistics Services is one of the Nigeria freight forwarding companies mainly established for customs brokers. As a third world country, our country mainly depends on imported goods from other industrialized countries ¨C in that case we decided to be extending our relationship to partners who are in the same business industry with us. We are reliable and transparent in all our dealings. We are sure that our experienced professionals are in the field to handle our client consignment very carefully and accurately without giving a gap for damages or losses. As we depend on industrialized countries, we don't have much to export. Our main services are as follows: -
1. Customs Clearance
2. Transportation (Local)
3. Door to Door Services
4. Freight Charge Collect Destination
5. Processing Form-M application to bring cargo into the country

JCtrans: Would you please talk about the concept of running company?

Augustine C. Anyanwu: Because we are still a middle-sized logistics company. And we do not have a very strong competitive advantage compared with those big companies. So we need a suitable business model to run our company. Customs Clearance is our advantageous business, and most of our clients come from this business. So we should keep our advantages and take this business as our golden business. Professional service is another aspect which we should do, we are a middle-sized company so our scale could not be structured, but we could be professional. We will offer our customers "one to one" service, and try our best make each of our client satisfaction.

JCtrans: would you please talk about the prospect of our company?

Augustine C. Anyanwu: Now most of our business is domestic. International trade is more and more important in our country now. And Nigeria remains the biggest market in Africa for shipping industry, so we want to make advantage it to march into international market. China is the biggest export market in the world today. And many Chinese enterprises have been in Africa now. So we want to go into Chinese market first. We have been the JCtrans.net member already, and hope we could open Chinese market from here. Trust JCtrans could help us find more chances.

In addition: Nigeria logistics market is not as developed as other developed and developing countries. So in this area, logistics system should be improved, and qualified personnel are also needed.
