Z.T. Freight Forwarding: Logistics Online Will Take Me to Success

At September, 11th, 2007, the Second China International Logistics Companies E-business Management Top Forum, which broke the traditional logistics and delivered the idea of logistics online, was held at Tianjin Golden Crown Hotel by JCtrans. In this forum, we interviewed Mr. Wang, CEO of Z.T. Freight Forwarding Co., Ltd, who is also an expert in logistics and internet.

Q: Could you introduce your company briefly?

A: Our company has been founded for about 4 years. As to the management, I always learn the advanced management system from developed countries and especially pay attentions to the use of internet. As to the business, we provide agency service for COSCO Group and China Shipping mainly, and have preferential freight at Japan, Korea, Turkey, Australia, and America lines. For example, we have been cooperating with a local agency and several airways in Turkey for a long time, and are going to cooperate with Mearsk in Australia. Besides, I also decide to add a customer service department in the near future, in order to provide better service for our customers.

Q: You referred that you pay attentions to the use of internet, so how do you think about logistics online?

A: logistics industry develops so fast that problems emerge one after one, such as the lack of credit, blind price war, false information, and so on. E-business provides rich information and an effective platform, which meet the requisites of logistics industry. However, as far as I can see, there are only a few professional websites on logistics in China. JCtrans is one of these few ones. The cargo, cooperation, and freight information it provides gives me many business opportunities. As long as we can make full use of logistics online, it will be much easier for us to win in the furious competition.

Q: Is there anything special about the logistics market in Tianjin?

A: The logistics market in Tianjin develops especially fast. At present, there is over 10 thousand freight forwarding companies in Tianjin. However, the cooperation and interaction between freight forwarders, shipping companies, and customers are not as good as Dalian, Qingdao, etc.

Q: How about the top forum in Tianjin?

A: This forum benefits me a lot. Although I am professional in logistics and internet, I still acquire much new knowledge from the introduction of logistics online by experts and become clear about the future of logistics industry. After realizing the importance of logistics online, I think e-business can resolve the basic problems by improving company's competition ability effectively. In other word, logistics online is the developing trend of the logistics industry.
