'Stolen' Ideas Big Business in Hollywood

Goldman Sachs lifted the computer and printer maker's 12-month price target to $46 from $42.50. Shares rose 61 cents to $39.49.
J.C. Penney Corp., up $1.35 at $79.55.
The retailer posted profit that surpassed Wall Street projections, and raised its full-year financial forecast.
Viacom Inc., down $1.24 at $38.43.
The entertainment conglomerate reported a 16 percent slide in profit for the third quarter. The company also announced Chief Financial Officer Michael J. Dolan will step down at the end of the year.
NASDAQ
Cisco Systems Inc., up $1.61 at $26.71.
The world's biggest networking equipment maker said its acquisition of Scientific-Atlanta Inc. pushed profit up 28 percent. UBS also upgraded the stock on the results, and predicted strong future growth.
Brightpoint Inc., up $1.85 at $13.49.
The technology company trimmed its fourth-quarter outlook and reported inventory doubled. However, investors sent shares higher after it announced a distribution deal with Motorola Inc.
Priceline.com Inc., up 57 cents at $39.83.
The travel Web site reported third-quarter profit surpassed Wall Street projections due to stronger sales in its international business.
