World Focuses on China, Forklift Focuses on Shanghai
A dynamic China is attracting the world’s close attention. With the annual economic growth at a rate of GDP 13%-15% for many years in succession, China has grown into the largest consumer market, producing & manufacturing base as well as a logistics & trade center in the world. All of these necessarily lead the Chinese forklift manufacturing industry to a fast development.

Shanghai has unfolded its blueprint of development and is under construction of a city with strong modern industries and tertiary industry as well as a shipping and transportation center. The world’s famous forklift manufacturers have set up their branches in China one after another, which consequentially will bring a new development to the forklift industry.

As a center of economy, trade and logistics in China, Shanghai can not only attract product marketing, but give out the highlights of international market. The city is so strong in trade promotion, widespread influence and high transaction rate that it is the top market place for the business circles home and abroad.

In 2005, the sales of industrial vehicles kept rapidly increasing. About 75,733 motor-driven industrial vehicles were sold. Comparing with that in the same period of last year, the sales increased by 17.44%. Of the sold vehicles, gas engine forklifts account for 16.4%, electric vehicles 21.46%, electric power balanced heavy riding forklift 18.7%. The sales of non-motor-driven vehicles were 1,520,000, comparing with the sales of 1,353,310 in the same period of last year, an increase of 12.33%.

During the exhibition, the organizer will invite the users, distributors, importer & exporter from the following sectors to visit the show: International trade promotion organizations, logistics enterprises, harbor, forestry, mining, general rear-service department of PLA, railway, airport, storage, transportation, paper-making, light industry, textile, petro-chemistry, electronics, building and so on.

About FORKLIFT CHINA 2006

The total exhibition area was 10000 square meters. 200 worldwide famous enterprises from 26 countries and regions participated in the exhibition and about 25 thousand professionals visited the show. The on-site transaction volume was up to 7.8 million RMB (equal to about 9,650 thousand US dollars). It is expected that the exhibition in 2007 will occupy an exhibition area of 20000 square meters and attracts more than 300 enterprises.

Registration:
1. After filling and signing application form, exhibitors mail or fax it to organizing committee.
2. When the application is endorsed, exhibitors should remit booth rental to organizing committee’s account, and fax the remittance statement to the committee for its check.
3. The booth is allocated on the basis of “First Come, First Served”.
4. Organizer will send a receipt immediately after having received the payment of booth rental and mail the Exhibitor’s Manual and notice.
5. The payment of ads on show directory should reach the bank account of organizing office before June 5, 2007. After the date, the ads can not be compiled into the show directory because the directory is going to printing.
