Global Sources opened its largest-ever China Sourcing Fairs: Electronics & Components and Fashion Accessories in Hong Kong, occupying all 10 halls of Hong Kong''s AsiaWorld-Expo. Scheduled to run until October 14, the two fairs feature thousands of export-ready suppliers from China and Asia, with more than 60 percent from mainland China.
"Global Sources is establishing a strong reputation for attracting a high-quality buyer audience to our China Sourcing Fairs. This, in turn, is attracting more exhibitors, creating larger shows and delivering more value to all trade partners," said Merle Hinrichs, chairman and CEO of Global Sources.
More than 30,000 buyers have pre-registered to attend the Electronics & Components Fair, with pre-registered buyers representing well-known companies, including 3M, Best Buy, Canon, Circuit City, Coles Myer, Eastman Kodak, Energizer, Flextronics, Fujitsu, Hitachi, Hyundai, JVC, Microsoft, Motorola, NEC, Procter & Gamble, Samsung, Sanyo, Siemens, Sony, Whirlpool and ZTE.
The Electronics & Components Fair offers over 2,300 booths, 30 percent more than in April. It features more than 1,000 suppliers from mainland China alone, plus exhibitors from Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and the United States.
Aside from the two new pavilions!Global Positioning Systems and Health & Personal Care Electronics, the other product pavilions include Consumer Electronics, In-car Electronics, Computer and Networking, Telecom Products and Accessories, Security and Safety, Electronic Components, Opto-electronics, and Power Supplies.
